Bio
Todd Morgan and the Emblems are a four piece Rock & Roll band, lead by singer/songwriter/pianist Todd Morgan. The band's sound is influenced by nearly every faction of American popular music, but with an emphasis on the 50's/60's sound, mixed with modern pop/rock, and 20's/30's Jazz, without excluding anything in between! The band's material consists of about half originals and half covers. They formed in 2007 as strictly a 50's cover band, but have been progressing ever since with more variety, and a large amount of original works! A large reason why this group is different from nearly every other band today(besides their choice of material) is because of the performance style of their lead singer/pianist/principal songwriter Todd Morgan. Don't expect a lot of flashing lights, bells or whistles (so to speak). Do, however, expect a first class front-man with a great band! Do expect top-notch singing, dancing and instrumental solos! Do expect to get your money's worth. All in all, expect nothing but a great show! The band continues to play constantly, progressing into new areas and writing new songs.
